Hello there! My name is Álfheiður Edda Sigurðardóttir (pronounced [aulvheiːðʏr ɛtːa sɪːkʏrðartouhtɪr]) but I mostly go by Edda.

I am currently a postdoc at Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg. Previously I was a postdoc at Inštitut za matematiko, fiziko in mehaniko (IMFM) in Ljubljana, Slovenia and for a short time a postdoc at the Science Institute, University of Iceland.

Before that I did my Ph.D. at the University of Iceland under the supervision of Ragnar Sigurðsson and Benedikt Steinar Magnússon.

My master studies were conducted at the University of Cambridge (Part III) and the undergraduate at the University of Iceland.

My research is in the realm of several complex variables, so far in pluripotential theory, Oka-Stein theory and L2-cohomology.
